I find it so hard to associate this flower with the infamous events at the school sharing the same name. My grandmother and mother have always had columbine in their gardens. When I was a kid, we used to (incorrectly) call them honeysuckles because you can pull off the individual "horns", bite off the very tips (the mouthpieces of the trumpets) and then suck out the sweet nectar - thus, suckling some honey. I'd have also placed this shot into Challenge 80: Bokeh. Lovely. Jim H.
