I could probably drive around town and find a fair number of pairs. I recall reading an article one time discussing the various items found along roadways. The most common item was shoes. As I recall, they were generally singles, unless tied together and thrown over a wire. This one caught my eye because of the unusual style for a wire shoe. I've also been curious how this item fares during heavy rains. I wouldn't be surprised if there were thousands of mosquito wrigglers living in there. -- Victor
