Finally! You're a funny lady - enjoyed the experience. The tilde will forever be a red herring after this challenge though.. conga... lol
Canon DSLR Challenge29-Mar-2007 18:39
Yes, you got it. And I even used my hubby's 350D instead of my 20D just to add some mystery. he he he

tilde, tilde, tilde... makes for a great conga line. :) This challenge has been so much fun!! Great guessing, KiKi & again, I'm really flattered that you would think I had a Lonnit quality image!! ~Jeannie
jbhgmvo29-Mar-2007 17:54
OR... Jeannie M. Burleson! 3 kids, 350D. Articulate. Hmm.
jbhgmvo29-Mar-2007 15:52
CJ in CA?? Has a 350D. Describes herself as "very analytical". She would enjoy this, and has some humour; a funny bunny title in the previous challenge. Sharon has a 350D as well, but.. this is not Sharons. Heck.. there aren't that many women in these challenges lol - sooner or later I'll pin you down!
jbhgmvo29-Mar-2007 15:12
I'd make a poor detective. I had "decided" this was either Lonnit or Sharon, mainly based on the tilde. But it's neither! So much for cheap assumptions.
I do find this exciting, but I trust you won't get miffed if I don't figure you out! Now back to the think-tank..
Canon DSLR Challenge29-Mar-2007 14:58
Seeing as I highly respect Lonnit's work, I am flattered!!! But alas, I am someone else. Keep guessing, KiKi. Anyone else out there dare to take a guess?

P.S. - I'm curious to know your "other" reason too. It will be worth waiting for even after the challenge if need be. :)
jbhgmvo29-Mar-2007 14:10
OK: Lonnit.
That's the only one I can think of that would sing a neener-neener like that in text format, has a dramatic vein strong enough to act out a "ding ding ding", has at least two kids in the right "miniature lava lamp" age, and is curious enough to experiment with them as photo lamps. The image could be a Lonnit as well - the colors are faily extreme, the composition and DOF is good enough. And.. she's one of the few who has reasons to believe I'd recognize her in the first place lol There's one more reason too, which I'll give after the challenge ;)
Canon DSLR Challenge29-Mar-2007 13:17
Female is correct...
jbhgmvo29-Mar-2007 05:25
the tilde, ~, is used by only a few persons here usually, allthough the X signature may have inspired some to use it. Sharon and Lonnit are among the three I've counted as users. Singing and dinging... and a 350D?? I better go kiddie-counting lol
I've already made a fool of myself explaining to Pops why he couldn't possibly have shot his own picture. I think the photograph in this case is female. So far, so good?
Canon DSLR Challenge29-Mar-2007 04:43
Ding, Ding, Ding... You got it. Congrats KiKi!!

It was interesting to shoot because I do not have a wireless transmitter or bulb. I had to use the timer in order to keep from getting body shake. I was completely at the mercy of the 2 lava lamps to see what color combinations I would get.

Oh, and we actually have 3 seeing as we had 3 stockings to fill. Who am I? ~X
jbhgmvo28-Mar-2007 22:51
No-no-no! Relax!!! I have none! The image in the comment belong to the shop, ThinkGeek! Miniatures... bah.. mine is two feet tall! (j/k)
Canon DSLR Challenge28-Mar-2007 22:46
GAK!!! You've got 3 of them!!! -Cat
jbhgmvo28-Mar-2007 22:37
I should have guessed it... Think Geek sells them!
jbhgmvo28-Mar-2007 22:34
Lava lamps!
Canon DSLR Challenge28-Mar-2007 22:13
OK, I see that the guesses have slowed so I'm gonna give you another HINT.

These stocking stuffers (yes, there are 2) are miniature versions of a very "groovy" decor item from several decades ago. In this version, glitter floats in liquid. ~X
Canon DSLR Challenge28-Mar-2007 01:37
KiKi, yes, there are 2 Christmasy attributes -- color & title. OK, there is actually a 3rd Christmas connection, this was a Christmas present for someone (maybe not me).

As far as an aquarium, think smaller. No lime -- actually the color can be deceptive. HINT: There are related UFOs here that are connected. All using the same object (in some way), but not the same color. NOTE: no PP (except crop & levels). The colors are as they are (that's also part of the hint). Have I made it more confusing?!?

Cat, no glitter nail polish, BUT glitter is part of it. ~X
Canon DSLR Challenge27-Mar-2007 22:34
Kids glitter nail polish. -Cat
jbhgmvo27-Mar-2007 20:27
Ho ho ho was a little christmas like as well... Back to the picture... is it.. a thousand tiny black dices whirling around in a green aquarium filled with ...lime??
Canon DSLR Challenge27-Mar-2007 18:27
No food products either. Actually the only Christmas connection is the colors.

"Oh what fun it is to know, the answer to the UFO..." (sung to Jingle Bells tune) ~X
jbhgmvo27-Mar-2007 16:23
Kiwi-jello in front of a Christmas ornament?
Canon DSLR Challenge27-Mar-2007 15:24
Nope, no hygene or radioactive products here. ~X
Canon DSLR Challenge27-Mar-2007 15:18
Some sort of hair product you might get at Claires? -- Victor
jbhgmvo27-Mar-2007 10:08
Last years christmas pudding after a radiation treatment, fit to fight for yet one season? A colony of alien tadpoles discovering a british garden? (I'm just feeling my way around here..)
