When Polaroid introduced those cameras, they also sold a developer's kit that contained a couple of those sensors and a circuit board to run them. The one mass-produced product that I have seen which did take advantage of these sensors are those hand-held distance measuring gadgets that they sell at the home-improvement stores for estimating room sizes. Buying those is cheaper than buying Polaroid's development kit, so I have a few laying around.

Nerds building robots often use them to give their robots a way of finding their way using this "sonar" system. Jim H.

Cool composition and colors. I even have a couple of those, and I would not have recognized it. --Melanie

Not ventilation, ... Big hint: Its something that older photographers should recognize.

Is it ventilation on the BACK of a Whatchamacallit? (looks like a Lonnit btw)
ctfchallenge27-Mar-2007 04:28
