The dominant PP for this was surface blur and smart blur. -- Victor

Interesting abstract

This is a picture of the same tree, just futher up and post-processed. The colors were relatively unaltered in PP. I'm pleasantly surprised people like this one better than the previous. As I posted in the previous picture, here is a picture showing the leaves. If you know what kind of tree this is, please let me know. -- Victor

Yeh!... I was having the same problem so I made my own... "I Think That This Image Is The Bark Of A Tree As Well"! ...but the colours have been inverted/filters applied? :-) ..... Melbob

Interesting line of reasoning there. But I already posted the alluded to picture that required specific weather.

I like how Nico sees this.
I am with Kiki on this one... very suble and harmonious colors here. Must be something natural. I am thinking the green moss/lichens that grow on healthy tree's bark in a polution free enviroment. The sharp edges might be due to intentional PS PP/posterization. Looks interesting!!
It needs good weather to take this shot. So this can be Victor's :) -Cat

Intriguing and very delicate colors and patterns. I was thinking of some sort of moss, but the outlines are too sharp..

ROFL. So what altitude would this have been taken from, then? -- Victor

Map of USA by zip code, showing impact of climate change over the last decade? (or put differently: no clue whatsover - but would be very interested in knowing the answer in due course.) Regards jnconradie
