I knew it would be too easy and you guys all got it right very early on... and Kiki guessed the photographer!

The EXIF data does not tell me who the "author" is so there is no clue there. BTW - it is handy to have your name embedded in the EXIF data. It helps protect your copyright interests in the photos you take.

Sure looks like US Hydrants to me.... ours are different! So.... K2 you could well be correct, not many 5Ds around here with that lens type!.... I'll vote for definitely 'Planet Earth' and "Fire Hydrant"... Melbob.

Not Lonnit. She plays with L glass. Besides I can't see her putting in a picture and not saying a thing in the thread or comments. It's not like Lonnit to be at a lose for words.

Not me! This was taken with a 5d which I don't own. My initial thought was it might be Lonnit stepping out of her usual M.O. to confuse us. But I don't know if she has a Tamron lens. I'll have to research that.

Thanks, Cat, I do like taking picture of Hydrants and I'm pleased that you noticed that.

Well.. judging by the POV, composition, camera and lens, the "guess artist" would be Amy Medina. We don't have fire hydrants here, so I'll just go with the flow on that one.

I will go with the top of fire hydrant!! Can be Pop's entry (firehydrant and Pops go together more often than IKEA and Pops, LOL!! ), but if Pops does not claim it, I don't know who Mr/Ms Guess is ... -Cat

Fire plug/hydrant?

I recognize that famous five sided bolt. They're almost everywhere if you know where to look. I wonder if Birdsill Holly had anything to do with it.
