Glass? I think the only glass is the glass making up the white dome (lamp). The dark area between the lamp and the hull of the ship is the water the ship is floating in. The scratches I spoke of before are probably just scratches from mooring the ship -- the ship rubbing up on a dock or something.

yes, Victor, I meant clockwise, but wrote CC. I now I too think its the hull of a ship in the backgroud, in front of it is some dark glass, in front of it is the light (white circle) -Cat
Photocat, that was my first impression, but there are features that look like scratches that I can't explain. Also, if this were a dam structure, how do you explain the circle?
And the picture wasn't rotated 90 degrees CC but 90 degrees clockwise. Properly, the circle should be on the bottom. It's a dome in front of the other thing. What's the other thing? My best guess is that (after rotating so the white dome is on the bottom), we're seeing a ship on the left and its reflection on the right. You can even barely make out seaweed at lower left (upper left as presented here). I don't know what the white dome is. It was just thrown in to make things more interesting, I suspect. Maybe the rooftop of a restaurant or who knows what else?

I have no idea what this is, may be a water tower/dam or portion there off or something... I see distinct water sepeage marks at the joints of blue and grey. Also I agree with Kiki, this image was rotated 90 CC.
Is it a lamp near a window, with the greyish area being a rooftop? I "borrowed" this and pushed levels back and forth to see if I could figure out the construction.. reminds me of oriental architecture but it could be reflections. It also struck me that it might be shot through a plane window. There are some funny pale scratchmarks, resembling those you find there. And there's like a drop of water on the window, but the highlight is confusing.. tells me the image has been rotated. Whatever it is, it's a wonderful picture.

This looks total alien to me!!! Beautifully composed and presented as a appealing abstract! No clue what it is :( -Cat
