Desert Colours

Rajasthan, India

Extremely sorry about the awful photo quality; had to save at a JPEG comression level of only 3 (very low) to keep within the 150KB limit. Unfortunately, this kind of a photo has way too much information in it to be represented within this KB limit. :-(

other sizes: small medium original auto

Thanks a lot Techo, appreciate it. Yes the colours on the lady was what attracted me to the scene. The ladies of Rajasthan do wear the most amazingly coloured clothes.

Cheers, Vikas.

I can see what you mean about the jpg compression in this one. But the composition and subject(s) stand out soo much in the shot that the quality of the image really doesn't hurt this shot as much as you think :)
I really like the "In Colour" portrait but this one just grabs me in. Though it does not include such a variety of colors the simple red and blue this lady is wearing is so simple and to the point. This is a really strong image.

Thanks Nugar for the suggestion; will check out tonight by removing the border/drop shadow. Appreciate it.

Thanks Nico, appreciate your comments.

Cheers, Vikas.

Yes, I can understand your comments about the compression/quality, but nevertheless: stunning colours and composition. Well done. Regards ~jnconradie

Hi Vikas, take into account that the frame/shadow takes a lot of kilobytes. You may want to present this particular image without them so the detail in the picture itself glows.

Cheers,

Nugar
