Thanks!

@ Phil, You must stop by. Suwanee is not to far from my house. Would love to meet you. Cat and Pops also live in the area. We know of this great little BBQ place.

@Alexeig, It was shot and held and at my eye level.

Nice title and capture. * I would place my lens just a tad more horisontal.

...I just checked - they are in Suwanee, which is only a few miles away from you, right? What are the odds!
If we manage to get over to visit, we'll have to stop by!
Phil

This is just excellent (and funny too).

I have had friends recently move to Georgia (from the UK) and we are so jealous of the house they have compared to what we have in here... makes me yearn to join them, and then you show us your house...

You're on good form at the moment Lee.

Phil

Thanks. That is a good point, that I had not thought of.

Funny again. Its a shame that only more regular participants might get the joke here. On its own it still works as an*empty* image though, but the underlying story that we all know gives it the edge.

Lands/houses are cheap down south. It was just built on an old farm. There are 2 million plus houses near by, but not in my neighborhood. Two million will get you gated, bigger, on lake or golf course, etc.

Maybe, I need to start selling a few pictures. 8-)

I AM in the burbs! LOL! Put that on Manhattan Isle and 2 mil would be the down payment! So, what's the deal - built on some ol' sulpher springs? Now THAT'S a lovely aroma I recall from passing thru in childhood! ;) ~ Lonnit

Lonnit,

The new city of John's Creek, Georgia. You need to move to the burbs. 8-)

You must be pitifully poor to only afford 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths! Plop that house over here and you'll get 2 mil for it! Where are you anyway? ~ Lonnit
Guest 02-Jan-2007 17:32
Thanks everyone. Just a fun shot after the holidays. The house is 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. This is the room for the formal living room. We are just too casual and poor to have good furniture that no one is to sit on. 8-) It also does double duty as a playroom from time to time.

I thought the stand set more of the after Christmas mood.
Canon DSLR Challenge02-Jan-2007 15:19
Lee, BTW, how many SF is your house? ~ Lonnit
Canon DSLR Challenge02-Jan-2007 07:42
I agree... can I borrow that empty room please??? Love the cord to nowhere, not sure about the stand though... but then it certainly makes one inquisitive! Regards, Bob

Fantastic, Lee! It was of course easy to identify as one of yours. It is so creative and too funny for words. But I have to agree with CJ: I cannot believe there are people with so much empty space in their homes. In ours, such a corner would not be found, I can assure you. :-) Compliments ~jnconradie
Canon DSLR Challenge02-Jan-2007 04:23
Lee, this is hysterical! I can't believe anyone has an empty room like this - I'd have it filled with "stuff" before long if this were my house! That cut off cord is very funny too! ;-) CJ

There must be a third to this Sequel. Come on, post it. Sam Attal

LOL! In a hurry, huh? I LOVE the plugged in wire. The stand I could do without - in general, which would make it an any-time-of-the-year image, as opposed to specifically post-X-mas. One might not realize what that is anyway. Oh, but the plugged in nothing! That's very creative. :) ~ Lonnit

Yes, this clearly conveys the "Empty" concept. Well done! Over here we leave the Christmas trees up until Jan the 6th.
