Reminds me of how things look after a night out with the boys!... except this is much prettier! Great shot and certainly "boke'd". Regards Bob.

Pleasing abstract. ~ Lonnit

Impressive how you got so many colours at once. Looks like a complete palate. The green appears to be showing down on the flower and a boat load of bokeh, a very nice effect. The dark petal on the lower left may be a little distracting for some given the overall pleasing effect. ~kt

Thanks, Nico; believe me, I know first hand, about those marbles rolling off the table ":^).
Sharon - Yes, it's the same pineapple plant as in the Rule of Thirds Challenge, the flowers are just moving up the fruit in a progression from bottom to top. Interesting. Thanks for the suggestion, you are right on, as usual. It did draw attention unduly. I didn't crop it, cuz I liked the balance the way it was, but I did subdue that highlight to keep it from drawing so much attention. Thanks again, -mikey

The colors in this are fantastic! And you got wonderfully round bokeh, too! I like your composition with the flower in the lower left (rule of thirds with purple?!) but would be tempted to crop out the single bright tendril in the upper left. Nice shot! ~Sharon

LOL, well, not TOO many, I hope. As for the marbles, you know, the older you get the harder it is to keep them from rolling off the table ":^). Look who commented on this one:http://www.pbase.com/cslr_challenge/image/60812233 Actually, the first Challenge entry I used this lens for was April, 2006. BTW, I need the money and I'm selling other (stuff) but can't bring myself to sell this lens. I love it!! Warm fuzzies, -mikey

I like it! (Cannot recall too many shots from you with that lens. or am I losing my marbles?) Compliments and regards ~jnconradie
