But, yes, «out-of-focus portions of the picture»
that «serve to enhance the subject»
as our host puts it...

I know you’ve seen this image before,

I love the hand on shoulder gesture, although their attention is obviously somewhere else. Sam Attal.

This image, on the other hand, is just perfect for the challenge. There is clearly a relationship between the man and the out-of-focus woman in the background but the fact that she is blurry makes him stand out even more. It may even say a lot about their relationship and makes for a great storytelling image. Good work! ~Sharon
