An easy way to fix that is to use Edit/Distort ... i.e. Use Ctrl A to select all, then go to Edit and select "transform" and then choose "Distort" and just grab the top left handle and pull it ever so slightly left to straighten up the LHS and then grab the top right hanle and pull to the right to straighten the RHS .. click on the check sign in the tool bar and all will be fixed. ... but you probably already knew that... so sorry if I'm preaching to the conveted. Regards ~ Bob

This one grabs my attention. I love the colors and the "swimmy" look of the reflections. The very tight, straight, angular structure of the window grid against the distorted and curved images reflected in them is pleasing for some reason. I also like how the green of the tree in the lower left corner seems balanced by the red of the flag in the upper right.

I think I would try to adjust things (I'm not sure how) so that the very left and right vertical window frame lines are parallel to the edges of the picture. Maybe one of those lens correction filters in Photoshop would do that. But you'd have to be careful not to mess up what's aready good about the shot.

It's always easier for me to say what I'd like to see but not offer any advice as to how to do it. Jim H.

Traveller, very cool shot. The extreme dichotomy is fun. The sharpness, clarity, and color saturation really grab my attention. For my own personal taste, I'd like to see the lines on both sides of the large old white building completely vertical. -Michael

Traveller this is great, your composition is terrific, lots of interesting aspects through the individual reflections. Kudos to the window cleaners too, no grubby fingerprints LOL. ~ Bob

Thanks a lot, Nico. I rather like this myself. There was another Canon shooter near by and I borrowed his Sigma 70~200 f2.8, a heavy son of a gun, and he got to shoot my 70~200F4L. Such are the joys of photography, running into people you don't know, but with whom you can share a common interest.

Your Munich shot is very nice also. But back to this one, I particulaarly liked the way the center line, or where this odd shaped builidng broke a half corner, perfectly seperated the white and the brick building. I had to position myself for this, but it is a nice touch.

In the lower left corner there was an ugly light pole, but I just clonned and used the healing tool to get rid of it as well as some ugly distractions in the glass.

PS You're being a hell of a good host! Best Wishes, Traveller

It would have been impossible for me to resist the temptation to take a picture of this intriguing reflection, had I been there myself.

Old buildings reflecting in new ones is one of passions... for example the one athttp://www.pbase.com/jnconradie/image/50667712, but I like yours a lot more.

And the flag in the corner adds a nice touch of colour. Regards ~jnconradie
