The World Is So Kind and Generous * Traveller

Flowers are not Easy...Holding the reds down to a managable level while keeping everything else...was, problematic, as was getting rid of a very messy background. I know that this would be easy for most people here...for me, it was extremely difficult.

1/60s f/4.0 at 70.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Yeah why is it reds are so hard to capture? It's usually over saturated but not in this case even with flash. Nice work Mr. Traveller.

I know exactly what you mean. The reds are so easy to blow, and getting the saturation and brightness where you want without clipping them is often a real problem for me. This looks good, though. I can see detail in the reds even though they're bright. I think this IS a difficult shot to shoot and process. Jim H.
