I like this shot but I didn't see the original version so I can't comment on the cropping :)

I like this even better knowing that she's in the way, and holding things up. I can just imagine her being hollered at by the other kids to get out of the way, but getting that drink anyhow! Jim H.

So much fun. Love the rainbow of colors. I didn't see the original, but this is a super crop. -Michael

Works better with the crop for me too. Nice work Jeannie.

Thanks for the comments Nico & Brent! Do you like this tighter crop better? I agree that the background was distracting.

This, of course, wasn't staged. I had to get off a couple shots quickly before her siblings yelled at her to get out of the way. She was holding up the whole show!! LOL

Fun shot with all the color and motion to look at as well as the cute little girl. I like it, might also like it better with a little off the top- maybe?

Cute, colourful and innocent. Nicely captured.

I was playing around with slightly different crops (for example so that the top of the picture is just above the pink hair band), whether that would not perhaps further improve the shot by removing the light / dark band at the top?

But this was really just a thought and you are welcome to disagree - and I would be keen to hear the opinions of other participants as well. ~jnconradie
