I like here the color treatment, almost desaturated but not quite. Great entry overall too

That is a good capture. Even if they're just playing, this seems pretty dangerous! I like seeing the flying bits and pieces. Jim H.

A rather complex moment nicely simplified to it's essential imagry. (That means I like it :-). -Michael

Well captured and I think the PP works well here too. Great job.

Thanks guys. It started out as a sepia/aged kind of look. Then I really was not happy with it. I wantd to get some of the vivid colors back into the shot. So, I reduced the opacity by 50%.

It was taken at a RenFest outside of Atlanta. I think they have them all around the USA this time of year.

Very interesting... excellent timing and nice title. I, too, would be most keen to learn from you about the post-processing. Please let us/me know where in the world such medieval type action is still to be found? ~jnconradie

Nice catch of action! Did you lower the saturation or were the colors kind of muted in real life?

This reminds me -- it's been too long since I've been to a Ren. fair. I think I already missed the spring one at Scarborough Faire. -- Victor
