Big Boys' Toys

RC is Radio Control!

The RC plane belongs to a friend, is electric powered and has a wingspan over 6 feet (2 meters).

The sky diver, called Barney, is also radio controlled and belongs to another friend. When the chute opens Barney can pull on his control lines and steer the parachute as he slowly descends.

In this picture, Barney has just jumped. The plane and Barney are over 400 feet (140 meters) up.

The RC plane is normal. The RC skydiver is xtreme!

That is really neat. RC airplanes are a hobby I've always wanted to play with but I've never done it. I've got a couple of friends who are into this, so I've got no excuse not to give it a try, I guess :) Seeing this makes me want to do it even more. Jim H.

Way too much fun. I love these primary colors. My own personal "big boy" toy is a Radio Flyer red wagon, but then I realize some gents aim higher than I do :-) -Michael

Thanks for adding the second picture as well so as to "complete" the story. In my personal opinion, the composition work well in order to highlight the distance from the plane to the ground. Xtreme Toys indeed! ~jnconradie
