Many thanks for the tip, Tim. I shall definitely try your procedure today or tomorrow. In fact, it does look a tad flat. Usually I am getting criticized for putting too much pop into my images, apparently I tipped to the other side ;-)))
Spectacular shot... but it does look slightly flat on my screen - which might just be my screen. Try opening it in Photoshop, copying the whole thing to a new top layer, go Filter>Other>High Pass and give it 10 pixels. Then go to the layers palette and change the mode to hard light and the opacity to 20%. I did this with this image and it gives it some subtle ZAP. Tim
Alexeig, good for you for stopping to take a picture of these iced cliffs. We pass some like this on our way to my Mother-in-Law's in Connecticut but never seem to have time to stop. And pictures taken out the passenger window of a moving car never quite make it! :-) This really does give us a sense of the size of the ice-fall. ~Sharon
