as for the PP, after initial exposure of the photographic paper you up your enlarger so you get about a 10% larger image and make it slightly out of focus. then you expose the paper again for 60% of original time while moving the paper just a little bit (for motion blur) and making sure none of the light reaches the parts of the image that you want perfectly sharp (here the faces, clothing and letters on the bottle).
