Señor Biscuit,

Thank you for the kind gibberish. Vikas, Alain and everyone...I appreciate the encouragement. I shot this on a whim after being inspired by the soap and the water and their similar color.

Mr. Gramilton: Sure sign of talent when you can take the mundane and make it profound. Smooth, clean, appealing. Framing and soft drop shadow contribute to its polished look. Very nice.

Love,

Iowa? What the heck are you doing there? Is there a big, untapped, plastic surgery market there? ~ Lonnit

These work well together.

What Gayle said. This image would have done well in the minimalism challenge as well. BTW, I left a message for you on your pbase site. -john(ebones)

Lonnit,

I agree with you. I live in Iowa now.

Nice. They really work as a series, although I don't think, except for maybe the middle one, that they'd be so strong individually. I just love the soft tones. They're so delicate. Hey - you moved from Chicago? Where are you now? ~ Lonnit

Lovely, lovely! The minimalistic approach works well with a triptych and these make a beautiful series.

Thanks AJ! It is sort of funny that I was a little nervous about movin from Chicago because I thought that I wouldn't have an environment as exciting to photograph. But I am learning how to see photos in places that other people would probably never look. I was so driven by making "postcards" that I missed all the great hidden gems around me. I guess I'm glad that I am being pushed to find my images instead of just capture them.

Grant, I love this. I mean I LOVE it! Beautiful lines and gentle colors. A wonderful series.
