Living Fireworks

Taken at our local zoo. This flower (I believe it is from a Mimosa tree?) was strongly lit by the morning sun against the shadowed tree trunk in the background.

Camerashy09, I love your use of color and this image is no exception. I like the composition with lazy downturned leaves and the brilliant upward splash of fireworks blossom against the shadowed background. -Michael

This looks like fireworks! I love the way the lighted blossoms are so bright against the background. But the light on the leaves is just right too. Very cool!
