Good - we're on the same page then! The colors of the sky and the ocean were primarily what made me unsure... --Olaf.dk

Yes I use the Spyder2Pro so it's pretty spot on.
The monitor is a 19" Samsung 910T LCD and about 6 months young.

You should be seeing a warm cast over the pic with a yellow/goldish look to the walls with grafitti.
The floor should look wet in places on bare concrete.

Eric, is your monitor correctly calibrated? Are these colors what you were striving for? It looks sort of like a faded photopriint from the 1970s - intentional? --Olaf.dk

maybe too late, I just see colors... nice shot, great compo anyway.

The color version is *much* better IMHO.... I think this image is a nice version of the "beach-surfer shot"....The only comment I might have is that the surfer/swimmer in the waves should be cloned outta there! He is a small red speck that draws my eyes to him and disappointingly I find it is a small irrelevant detail....Of course....this is JMHO.

Cheers,
:-D

I would also like to see the full color version. I've just not known exactly how to feel about this shot. The ocean/sand/sky can give great color. I thought maybe it might work to have the covered entryway in B&W with the ocean in color, but then I really love the gorgeous shades on the walls. So bring on the full color... -- Jeannie (jburly)

I was undecided with this , so I might try the full colour version.

I like this a lot, but I think I would prefer it in full color. --Olaf.dk
