I like this shot and your selection of it for this challenge. You really make that lens sing. I have had a tendency to always shoot stopped down for macro, just to try to get some DOF. Here, you've demonstrated perfect use of the inherent lack of DOF to make the shot work. It's interesting how the "arc" of in-focusness" forms a shape of its own here. Sort of "J" shape. But the main thing is the one strong pattern here. Subtle yet strong if you know what I mean.
