k... can i call you k? Before worrying about how to paint with light, have alook at others work on composition. Especially a certain A Johnson whose images appear 1st and last. The idea you have is good, but compositionally it doesnt work. A more thoughtful arrangement is required. No not thoughtful, because you have put a lot of thought into this. But there are elements of your subject that are photgenic and elements that are not. We all do it at times. Keep at it, have fun and most of all keep looking at others work. Thats all i do.
