Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha ---- You guys provide such entertainment! I haven't checked here for a few days but am happy to see the challenge is running on "controversy," as usual. Great legs, Lonnit with unique and daring images, as well. Shu

Well grant, it would be my butt that would have needed the covering and yes, indeed, it was covered. :)

Olaf - originally I was but it was too bright. The 75-300 yielded darker results. I didn't have any filter to fit the 24-70 to darken it further, nor could I darken the room more. I normally wouldn't have made this shot a 4 second exposure b/c it wouldn't have been necessary. I only did so to suit the challenge. Ok, so why this subject you ask? It's all a play on the challenge - the theme is 'long' and my legs are very. :)

All I want to know is if you covered the muff...I need to know what I am supposed to imagine at the top of the frame.

It could be these for all I know.

Well, you have a lens wider than your 75-300, don't you? Why not use your 24-70L?

Grant, pants would be those fabric things that cover the legs. These legs are not covered in pants. Do you need an explaination of shirts as well? LOL!

Vikas, thanks for the comments. It was not easy to swiftly climb up to the window in those heels, before the timer went off, then get into position - which meant my head scraping the ceiling - and arching back a bit to avoid having my face pressed into the dusty (ok, I admit, I do not dust my curtains! LOL!) baloon valance, all while staying in-frame, because I could not move the camera back any further because of a wall. However, the heels were essential to the shot, so there I went.

The blind is crooked for sleezyness - was going for a more brothely look.

As for the cut off shoe.... since I couldn't move the camera back further I couldn't get quite the whole width of the window in the frame. Since the ballon curtains were in the way I couldn't look down to see where on the sill my feet were. I just kept changing poses while the camera would shoot 5 or 10 frames. I was clinging on with my fingertips, to the little metal ridge of the window frame that sticks out about 1/4 inch from the wall. I did an assortment of leg positions and this was the one I liked best. There was another that was virtually identical but slightly over to the left so that both full feet were in the frame. I selected this one b/c the left leg was running up the left thirds line of the compositional grid, creating a more pleasing composition. I felt the cutoff foot didn't detract and actually added a bit more mystery or indication that there's more to the shot than what is seen. BTW, it's the right shoe that is cut off. This is a rear view. ;)

Are you wearing pants?

;-) ....... interesting shot Lonnit, speaks of promises made, promises to be kept... ??? Particularly love the high heels, great touch.

A couple of questions for you, any particular reason for raising the blind on the pics right hand corner? Also, the left shoe cut off?

Cheers. Vikas.

Lonnit, it was a very STRONG leg and so I suppose that you should be complimented. Dorys` reference to, "A Christmas Story," made me gauf out loud, because I could see what he saw immediately also.

What is a little surprising is that you don't have any recollection of, "A Christmas Story." This movie is such a classic that on Christmas Day, here in Los Angeles, one local station plays nothing but this movie, round the clock, for 24 hours straight.

If you get a chance, rent it on DVD and give yourself a good laugh, and an insightful view of Christmas from a child's perspective.

Best Wishes,

Traveller

Sorry, I'm not aware of the reference. Should I be happy about that or insulted? LOL! ~ Lonnit

in an odd way this reminds me of the lamp Mr. Parker won on "A Christmas Story." All you need is a lampshade! LOL

Thanks Traveler. As they say, it's what's left to the imagination that's sexiest. :)

Ed, stockings help too! LOL! ;)

Dear Lonnit:

Damn, that's erotic...but interestingly, erotic for all the right reasons. The image shows...nothing, but promises....well!

And, of course, the High Heels are just fabulous.

Best wishes,

Traveller

I guess a 4 second exposure is one way to be sure your leg hair doesn't show. (*ducks*) ;-) ;-) -Ed Hahn (PS - If this offends you, please feel free to delete! All meant in jest.)
