love the red glow, and what a neat choice for the background.

Mr Bicuit I've not done a thing to it. All I did was swap galleries for this and the nightstand shot b/c I liked this one better. You are now calibrated so you are seeing it as intended. :) ~ Lonnit

Is this a re-post? I like it better, and I don't know if it's because I calibrated my monitor or you heightened the contrast and darkened the periphery...

I love this image! (It goes with the bra.) Shu (seriously)

It took me longer to think of the title than to create the image! LOL! More contrast was something I kept trying to do but it was all blackening up too quickly. It does fade to near black around all the edges; is your monitor calibrated? That is not posterization in the candle - it's the way the candle is made; it's grainy. ~ Lonnit

OK, Lonnit, have to razz you again: Like "Fruit on a Plate", this has an evocative, emotion-filled title. Took me a moment to get it [... Mr. Biscuit ducks for cover...]. I like the gentle play on light, but this looks fairly of static. Would try for deeper contrast, a fade to near black around the edges, watching the posterization in the candle. *Might* work better in landscape with a thirds (or more extreme) composition.
