Aged Rose & Beautiful Music

Lit with a strobe bounced into a brolly
from behind and just to camera left.

Purposely shot with a higher shutter than
the D60 can sync with to get the trace
of vignetting at the bottom.
I wanted to mirror the shadowed area
at the top of the photo behind the rose.

Forgot to say: shot this with the
135 SF set to soft focus setting 2
(which at f9, didn't result in *too* soft
a look, just a little bit.)

I must be in a critical mood tonight (perhaps it's the wine) but this somehow doesn't seem up to your usual standards Angela. For me, at least, it seems to lack the visual impact your images usually have. Phil
