This image of your daughter is so engaging! She's beautiful in her wistfulness. Shu

At her age everything is emotion. This split second interes in what is behind the camera...
Lovely picture.

Ha! Twinkleberry! I think that might be my new nickname for her.

I hope that's not true Grant...I hope you are kidding with us...It is a great photo...I wish I could have taken it...you can tell your daughter that she is a very pretty little twinkleberry and that we prefer her happy than over emotional (ie. crying)...
sorry.

Well I told my daughter that the men from the internet didn't think her picture was showing enough emotion and so now she is crying. She asked if it was because she isn't pretty enough. Happy now? I will probably need to buy a puppet now.

Great capture Grant. I like the catchlight in her eyes and soft lighting. I assume that you submitted this picture because she’s your daughter. You are emotionally attached. As a father I can relate to the emotional side of this but I’m not sure everyone else will see it the same way though.

What a great portrait, crisp, clean, and good bokeh if I use the term correctly here...not sure...This is really nice...but what emotion is conveyed...and what story...This is a perfect portrait, that I envy you for taking in such a magnificently skilled manner.

Cheers,
:-D
