Exactly right, It is the Burj Al Arab in the background. Thats the world's first 7 star hotel. Now they just started a Helicopter service from the Airport to the Helipad on the top. Did you see that pic about the tennis match on the world's highest court. That was on the Burj Al Arab Helipad.
I decided to take an unusual angle while photographing the Burj, from the nearby newly created Shopping Mall and Hotel "Medinat Jumeirah". This is themed like an ancient Arab city with its markets. Reminds me of Alladin and Aqaba.
One thing Dubai does very well is market itself ! I am sure that pics of the Burj appear on the tele on all major European channels and CNN atleast once a week.
