Two things were interesting to this crowd - Bush speaking at his Inauguration and me pointing a big lens a few feet away.

Thanks. I put the other image up ("Reverie") in lieu of an earlier shot I took. It was tought narrowing my pictures down to three.......

There's something about the officers gape mouthed expression that reminds me of the film Police Academy :) Actually, it's his expression and the girl trying to make out what you're shooting that really make this shot for me. I come back to it every time I visit the galleries.

I really like this plus the other one you haven't put up which shows a couple with heads down, almost pondering the event.
But this one could also be like a time capsule, with heads up trying to see the event, the police officer in the background keeping an eye on you and the woman wondering what you are doing,the wintery cold, in 20years it would be good to look back and compare a similar scene.
