Yes, I have the 17-40L but haven't been able to use it yet, the 24-70 Sigma I have had the same problem but took nice shots just the same. thubleau

I find the Sigma is pretty good, it is reasonably sharp but can suffer from lens flair at times. An alternative might be the Canon 17-40 f4 which I think is quicker to focus and a little sharper. Teapot.
