My Bathroom

Since I designed the bathroom itself I'm not breaking any rules. I even brought that toilet home myself! LOL!

I like the different blues and white together in this, Lonnit. You could have titled it "Toilet Paper Blues" he he. Seriously though, you are NOT the only one to photograph toilet paper... I did that in one of the Sony challenges.
However, I did not photograph it FROM the tub ;-) markjay

A few years ago I was flying with Southwest Airlines. The crew, as SWA crews are wont to do, decided to be entertainers. They organized games for the passengers to play. One of the games involved TP. The front person on each side of the plane was handed a roll of TP. They were to hold the end and pass the roll to the person behind them. The roll was to continue until it reached the rear of the plane. Then the passengers were to roll it back up to the front. The side of the plane to roll their TP up first got to deplane first. If the TP broke, the team had to start over. My side won, but we deboarded as normal (and appropriate, IMO). -- Victor

Grant: Whaaaaaat? Geez, a girl takes 2 shots of toilet paper and suddenly she's labled obsessed. Ok, I'll fess up; I've shot TP before, a few years ago. My twins had unraveled an entire roll and I had to reroll it. It was all fluffy and interesting looking and I got a nice shot of it with my Oly 3030. I guess that's where it all started. ;)

Victor: The color is reflecting off the surface they are sitting on. The one on the right is picking up the pink in the trim tiles and the one on the left is picking up the darker surface tiles. The one on top is probably picking up the wall tile behind me. Your idea is interesting, but from where I was shooting it would be very difficult to set up lights - I'm in the tub! LOL!

Lonnit, My first reaction to this picture after recognizing the subject is that the colors vary significantly across the rolls. If this were my subject, I'd probably check into seeing if I could take advantage of that somehow, experimenting with different light sources, perhaps directing spotlights at colored things in the room out of the frame. I'm not saying that would make a better picture. It's just where I'd feel led to experiment. -- Victor
