It used to be when I was young,but not so now, there are certainly a lot of shades in between which I have come to accept.

Well it's a very nice effect with the transparent balloons. Personally I think it's better not to crop. /Jonas

Basically, the flash did not go off. The balloons were chosen because they were clear. The girls were playing "Statues' and when I shot the camera was at f/11 and 1/200th/sec.ASA 200 It was not until I started to print the photos I thought that by darkening the print slightly and increasing the red and cyan channels and knocking back the other channels I could give the impression of a greyscale photo with just a little colour. thubleau

Nice! The silhouettes are great with the colored balloons! A closer shot of the girl in the middle holding the red balloon would be very nice, too. (The advantage of having an 8mp camera in order to have a greater crop potential.) Shu
