Hate to say it now, after suggesting the crop, I think it needed a little less off the top... I still love the shot however!

Noel, thanks for the comment, but it's actually right beside a fairly busy road so I doubt the air is actually that clean!
Anna, I did think about cropping less, but decided I liked it this way. For now at least!

I think it's better but didn't think you should crop it that much. 1/5 would have given better proportions and then you could have darken the leaves in PS. Which just goes to show that you can't please everyone... :-)

I agree - this would be a stronger image if you cropped off the top - say where the darkness starts to be replaced by the sky, this would leave a 'banded' composition with the 3 bands having roughly equal size. I would be very interested to see the results.

What a great find, those trunks go on and on. I wonder if you cropped off about 1/5 off the top then the tree trunks would be more pronounced.
