I know this is the theme to the extreme, but the bloom seems to want a tiny bit more DOF. -Noel

I think this might be better if the actual heart of the rose head was in focus too. There is such a narrow DOF here i think it detracts from the photo. - Jono

Peter I love the way the stem and leaves are out of focus and out of contrast. An unusual and eyecatching rose picture. The frame is great too.
