Nice capture! These birds are fast and certainly not easy to photograph.

Like everyone else has said, the crop is quite good. The sharpness could have been better but considering is was a 135mm you did an excellent job.

I agree the composition is good. The mistake I made was cropping a small portion of an image and then trying to sharpen it to an acceptable degree. (I need a longer lens, since 135mm just doesn't cut it.) Shu

I like the spreading wing and the pattern of the overlapping feathers! However the image seems to suffer from firstly, being a crop of a much larger image and secondly, being over-sharpened (halos surrounding the bird). --Olaf
