Rob, I think this could benefit from a some increased contrast and color in the sky, via curves used selectively on the sky. [New curves layer, increase contrast 'til the sky looks right, then paint with black on the layer mask over the bird, using a soft brush at some partial opacity to bring the contrast on the bird back down]. --Olaf
