Thanks. It was the last of a series in which a serious expression transitioned to an open smile on a wonderful day trip by the two of us. The lighting was brought to you by the sun at very high altitude, about 12.5k, in Colorado. It was a contrasty day until we got to the top of Trail Ridge when light clouds swept in to yield a diffused bright light.

Great shot. Lighting is perfect and his character really shows through.
