Thanks for the comments. I have lightenned it a little. But by doing this I have unfourunately lost some contrast within the bird, and between the bird and background. What do you think? Neil

This is a really good composition but I agree with iso in that it is just a little underexposed. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a quick tweak of the levels.

I like how the head of the gull and the top edge of the sign are in line... gives it some horizontal anchoring.

Ho ho. I like it Neil. The little fella is great on top of that. Overall it seems a bit dark though. I can see you've got some strong sunlight on him, and a shutter speed of 1/4000. I'm just trying to work out what the conditions were here?
