Indiscreet

Hands: Is there anything they're not good for?

Another enchanting moment at the Reilly household. My son thought he was being inconspicuous and did not see me creep up with camera in hand. Did I counsel him immediately like any good parent? No, I popped a frame and *then* suggested that there were more discreet and effective ways of accomplishing his task. Funny how photography can change one's instincts...

I smile every time I see this on as my daughter does the same thing.

Photographer's Axiom No. 127: You can pick your subject, you can (in theory) pick your nose, but *never* pick your subject's nose. Interestingly, my daughter saw this shot posted and, in a gesture of sibling rivalry, now demands that I do the same for her. So this shot might get a companion before the Challenge concludes. Too much to hope for, huh [*sMiLe*]?

Hand picked :-) Usual excellent portrait. Excellent crop and DOF. I'd say this is right on the nose ;-)

You did it for a good cause, Joe, but leave the little guy alone or he'll think you're "pickin" on him. Great shot! Shu
