I chose this composition to leave something to the imagination, and you guys are definitely imaginative :-) It's indeed a female figure. I have the actual titles and sculptors around here somewhere, but I can't find it...

Not certain what the larger context is (i.e. the overall subject matter of the sculpture), but it doesn't appear to me as though he's waiting. More (... um...) taking matters into his own hands. [*embarrased, rosy-cheeked grin*] Sorry, couldn't resist, but that was the initial impression I took...
