Well, a neck is a piece of land that juts out - sort of a peninsula. We have a whole bunch of 'necks' in a row here on the north shore of Long Island - Little Neck, Great Neck... Perhaps a Mr. Throg discovered this neck! ~ Lonnit

Whats a Throg's neck ?

Heard of Queensborough Bridge, Williamsburgh Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge. Also Holland Tunnel that does not take you from NY to Holland. But did not hear of Throg's neck.----- WONDERSTRUCK
