Rail Sunrise 1
by Jeffrey Greeniaus

This was taken in Edmonton Alberta on my way home from work. By the next day those clouds had dumped about 5 cm of snow on the ground.

Love the light but agree with Bee's composition suggestions. Feels a bit unbalanced to me.

Great image - small suggestion - rotate it a bit counterclockwise? -Ed Hahn

This a nice shot - wonderful light on the rails. The composition doesn't feel quite right to me, though. I feel like the center of the shot should be down and to the right, so the building is closer to the left edge (you'd lose the trees, though) and the tracks ended more toward the bottom center. A slightly lower perspective may have caught even more light on the tracks, too.

Wonderful colors and great ambience.
BTW. I love rails/train photos!

Nice color here, very warm even though the setting is pretty dark... The one thing that keeps me coming back to this shot is the reflection of the light on the rails, in the foreground... that's a nice touch. Cheers!

Love the sky in this one, the deep colours really make this a special pic.... Vikas
