Earl, I like the idea here! in fact, I thought about it myself too, but I don't have a lens that will allow me to go that close... If you choose to reshoot, I'd recommend strong directional light (like sunlight or off-camera flash) from a low angle in relation to your fingertip. That should help bring out the texture. Fitting title BTW. --Olaf.dk
