I'm not sure what you mean by mutted, but that is the colour of the slinky. I'm a little disapointed my the compression as the original is much better detail. I just printed on on 11x17 and the detail is great.

Nice shot Paul. I was expecting a slinky shot to appear sooner or later. I like your composition but to my eyes the colour seems a little muted almost as if it was shot at a high iso - but that could just be me. Been staring at so many patterns this week that spots are appearing before my eyes ;-)
