Thanks for the title suggestions everyone! I have now settled on the above title.
Very much in line with what was suggested - and what I'd had in mind from the beginning.
Just couldn't find quite the right wording. [Original title: "Untitled"; Original caption:
"Help! I can't think right now. I know there's a funny title for this shot - but what is it?"]

Thanks guys! I was beginning to think my sense of humor had left me for good... Good suggestions! I had thought about something along the lines of "the tongue's next" or "rites of passage", so I can see we are we are thinking along the same lines. Joe, it wasn't staged, but it wasn't something he came up with entirely by himself either. I was toying with those plastic rings and thought: hey, these could be used as ear rings, after which I tried one on myself. My son thought that was funny and also wanted to do it. We put one on each of his ears, but we had three rings... It was in the middle of a heat-spell in a house without air-condition, so he was running around the house with only his diaper on. Well, when I saw this - bare chest, rings in ears and nose - I realized it was a photographic opportunity, so I grabbed my new camera and got a couple of quick shots. --Olaf

"Hey Dad, I thought you said only two piercings until after I graduate from college!" That's what I always tell my daughters... they can pierce anything they want AFTER they graduate from college. For now, only one hole in each ear! Cute shot! Roberta
