Richard, Looks better. You can also use the sharpen tool in PS to give a slight touch on just the eye. Roberta

Unfortunately the cat is 150 miles away. I've now retouched the image using focus magic. It has increased the depth of field to include the eye on the left. The effect is subtle but I think it helps a lot. What do you think? Does it look better now? - Richard

Richard, marvellous composition but as Roberta has said, the eyes need to be in focus. If your cat is willing, try it again.

Richard, This is a very well balanced image. I like the use of complementary colors used in a natural way as a background for the shot. Very nice! (*) My only suggestion is to achieve sharp focus on the eyes for a shot of an animal. Roberta
