*Ribbons
by Tabs

These two ribbons caught my eye so I decided to get upclose and personal with them. This also gave me a chance to experiment with some flash bounce as well.

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Kenko extension tube, 420EX flash bounced off a white board full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I'm a big fan of abstract and this is very nice. *I would have liked to see a diagonal break, i just think it would allow both colors to fully fill the horizonal as well as vertical

Thanks Earl! The ribbon wasn't very think - they are two ordinary bows used to put on wrapped presents. I smooshed them up close together to make it dense and then shot up close. It was a fun shot - took me quite a few tries to get one I liked so I learned a bit :)

This is excellent. I like the shapes the ribbon make, and your pick of colors to use for this challenge and this photo work well for me. I'm curious, how thick is the ribbon? E-
