Empire and Concorde

Taken on 26th December on my 24 hour trip to New York.
Decided to take my first ever helicopter trip and what a place to do it!
Manhattan sure was beautiful from up here. Thought this composition made an interesting shot.

Thanks, yeah, te sky was bland so I tried adding a grad filter effect. The red with high contrast added the most atmosphere I think, even if it is a little OTT! - Jon M

Nice photo and subject - the area of interest covers the entire image. The red sky adds some menace to the atmosphere - intentional?
