Not just your ordinary breastfeeding shot!
No, it wasn't staged. Does anybody else see the humor in this?
[Now that I come to think of it, maybe I should have submitted this one in the opposites challenge?]

Nic pic. I would think that the picture would convey more of the "title" if the lady had her shoes on, and perhaps a scarf wrapped around her neck..all while feeding her child.

Thanks Scott! The image is cropped like it is because of the story I am trying to tell: the contrast between the down-to-earth activity of breast-feeding and the high-style of the clothes and home setting. The clothes and shoes could’ve been taken out of a fashion magazine and the furniture out of interior design periodical! This struck me as funny and is what led me to take the picture and entitle it “Style-conscious motherhood”. So the inclusion of the shoes on the lower right was critical. The extra space on the left was more for balance, but in case of the partial black chair, also added to the style of the home. And of course the crib was saying a bit about both parenthood and style. In all, I thought these elements, supported the story I was trying to convey. --Olaf

This is a good shot...I think I could have been a little better with some cropping. You have some extra space on each side of the couch that you could have removed (IMO). All in all it is a good shot.
