Bronx Zoo, NY

Never in all my wildest dreams could I ever have anticipated coming back from the zoo with a shot like this! This regal feline posed magnificently for me as he sat sunning himself on a rock. He closed his eyes lazily. I whispered to myself, "C'mon baby, open your eyes." and he did so as if on command. I instantly snapped the shot. Additionally, I'm just amazed on top of everything else, that this was shot through the glass veiwing area! What a camera... what a magnificent animal.

Thanks for the enthusiastic comments. I do want to print this one out on my brand new Epson 2200. I don't know how big I can go though b/c I did crop a bit to get this framed exactly as I wanted it. I liked it tighter than the original shot. When this moment presented itself I was afraid of missing it and shot quickly. I had plenty of other tech aspects on my mind! LOL! ~ Lonnit

It's the crop showing the side profile that really makes it.

I agree with Angela. Go to Costco and get one of their big 12X18 prints for $3.99 and put it on your wall. This is awesome! Ann

OH OH OH OH!!!! OMG You're right, this is a once in a life shot and you nailed it! Soooo majestic, it's like we're looking at royalty. What a calm, serene expression. This eminates grace and beauty in a way that humans can only just begin to understand. Please tell me you'll take this right to your print shop and have it blown up big because this baby deserves to be on display! angela :)
